All hotels are situated side by side on the western part of Dubrovnik, in the Lapad Bay. They are 3.5 km distant from the old town and about 25 km from Dubrovnik Airport. The hotels operate exclusively seasonally, from Easter to the beginning of November. Total surface area of the land owned by the Maestral Hotels amounts to 43.803 m2, while net spread surface amounts to 21.123 m2.
Controlling shareholder of the company is the Republic of Croatia through its authorized bodies – Croatian Privatization Fund (HFP) and State Agency for rehabilitation of banks and insurance of saving deposits (DAB). DAB shares are entrusted for management to the HFP which thus manages 84,56% of shares of the company and this whole package of shares will be offered for sale within the forthcoming privatization of the company. In the two preceding privatization cycles (2005 and 2006) none of the bidders was selected.
